Cromer Cameo Group
What is it? This is an informal lunch group based in the town of Cromer. The word Cameo stands for Come And Meet Each Other which is very much the theme of the group and it attracts people with dementia and their carers from Cromer and the surrounding area. There are no set activities, but those who attend can either do simple puzzles, play traditional board games or just chat amongst themselves in a friendly, relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
What to expect: The group starts at 10.30am and runs through to around 1.45pm. At 12pm a light 2 course lunch will be served. Tea and coffee is served upon arrival and with lunch.
When? The fourth Tuesday of the month.
Where? Cromer Methodist Church Hall, Hall Road, Cromer, Norfolk, NR27 9DT. The hall has ample parking with disabled access facilities.
Cost? £3.00 per person.
